Repair & Restoration
The day to day general use of parts and items will sometimes mean that they get old, worn and damaged from a drop or a knock.
Prior to repairs, F.H.Lambert uses specialised processes to strip off any old paints, lacquers and metal plating, without damaging the base metal substrate. The restoration process can then begin with initial fabrication repair, soldering, welding, debruising, straightening and reshaping on the base metal substrate. See also in the Services section.
F.H. Lambert have their own on-site engineering workshop with experienced highly skilled craftsman which use modern and traditional techniqes combined to return items to good condition, removing large or small dents, burrs and other problems.
Depending on the finish that is required, a number of stages will then have to take place to achieve the desired result. See also in the Services section.
