Environment
As a metal plating company we are subject to environmental controls regarding the use of hazardous chemicals, health and safety, disposal of waste products, effluent discharge, and recycling.
Effluent Treatment System
F.H.Lambert Limited operate an onsite effluent treatment system which has a settlement conical tank that is pH adjustment controlled, along with coagulant addition to provide settlement of solids prior to discharge to the public fowl sewerage system.
We hold a consent to discharge license issued by the water authority, and have the effluent system serviced and maintained on a monthly basis.
Controlled Substances
The hazardous waste that has to be removed from the F.H.Lambert Limited registered facility is done legally and ethically through a licensed waste management organisation; certificates are kept in accordance with current legal legislation.
Recycling
The solid waste that we generate is always kept to the bare minimum; however we currently recycle used cardboard and paper.
